I’m so excited to share with you our first foray into homewares: A summer cushion capsule with acclaimed Australian interior designer Lucy Montgomery.
I always knew I wanted MM to be about more than just the clothes. I wanted it to be a part of your daily life; in your kitchen and living room, as well as your wardrobe. This collaboration with Lucy feels like a special milestone in realising that dream.
The collaboration came about like all successful partnerships do - through mutual admiration. Both Lucy and I had been admirers (and customers!) of each other since I moved to Sydney three years ago. It was clear that we shared an affection for stripes and heirlooms, and a design philosophy centred on creating pieces to cherish for a lifetime. But we later discovered we also both grew up with interior-obsessed mothers, are one of four siblings, and are in a season of life juggling early motherhood with running a business. Creating something together felt kismet.
We designed this capsule with summer entertaining in mind; with fabrics inspired by MM’s Resort collection, In Search of Magic, and Lucy’s signature shapes, trims and impeccable details. All made here in Sydney.
